Chelan Barrel Tasting Thanksgiving Weekend
November 25th-27th A weekend that has it all: great views, long conversations at the tasting counter, the smell of oak barrels wet with wine and wood smoke in the morning air. There’s a little bit of breathing room everywhere you go and everyone you meet has relaxed into post-harvest glee. Taste warming reds right from the barrel and linger over a sample of what could be a double-gold winner at future wine competitions.

Sip The Season:Cascade Valley Wine Country Heads West July-October 2016
SEATTLE The winemakers of Cascade Valley Wine Country will visit the Seattle area to pour at a series of pop-up tastings at top area hotspots including Bar Vacilando on July 14, Black Bottle Bellevue on August 11, The Innkeeper on September 8 and Black Bottle Seattle on October 13. These casual and complimentary events will offer passed appetizers from the kitchens of Chef Brian Durbin paired with sips of new releases and old favorites from both well-known producers and up and comers with wineries or tasting rooms in Leavenworth, Lake Chelan and Wenatchee. Choose one or visit all four taking place the second Thursday of each month, July through October from 6-8 p.m.
Chelan Crush Weekends
October 1,2 and 8,9 October in the Lake Chelan Wine Valley is gorgeous with brilliant sun, spectacular color and the smell of freshly fallen leaves. Join us in back-to-back weekends as we celebrate our annual Crush Festival. The barrel room doors swing wide open and the work in the vineyards comes to the crush pad. Come taste, stomp and dance. Watch the grapes tumble through the press and taste the raw juice that it produces. Get the inside scoop from the cellar master or wine maker on how the wine will taste come bottling time. Sit down with us at the table for a harvest party or a winemaker dinner and share in the experience of harvest season.
Wenatchee Wine & Food Festival Saturday, August 27
Some of the top wines in Washington state will be featured at the 2016 Wenatchee Wine & Food Festival on Saturday, August 27 in Wenatchee. The event will take place at the Town Toyota Center from 6pm to 9pm. Last year’s event featured more than 38 of the region’s top wineries pouring their award-winning varieties, along with tasty eats from some of the area’s finest restaurants and caterers. This year promises more of the same, but on a larger scale. More food options, live entertainment and the additional presence of the region’s growing brewery, distillery and cider industries will make it a night to remember. Tickets are $45 per person and include all wine & beverage tastings, food, live entertainment and a commemorative wine glass. Tickets can be purchased online at Wenatchee Wine and Food Festival A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. The Wenatchee Wine & Food Festival, now in its sixth year, is presented by the Port of Chelan County and Foothills Magazine, a bimonthly lifestyle publication produced by World Publishing.
Cascade Valley Wine Country comes to Seattle’s Belltown for the “Belltown Crush Block Party” ! Join us for our Third Annual Belltown Crush Block Party, a summer wine and beer festival, on Sunday, August 28th from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at Bell Street Park. The event will feature wines from Cascade Valley Wine Country and local wines and brews, delicious bites and a grape stomping competition! Tickets are $25 with net proceeds benefiting Plymouth Housing Group. Your ticket will include 10 tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets will be available for $2 or three for $5.
